 We start with a full round cedar log we then cut out the center to form a surround cap, we sand it so that it is ready for touch up sanding and finish, we temporarily re-attach the open side so that you may remove it and install at your column or post. Once you have it secured to the floor and ceiling, simply re-install the open side cover with glue and screws, plug the screw holes with wood plugs or putty, sand off all glue, seams and plugs, then finish.

When correctly installed it will appear as a solid log post. May be used for interior or exterior applications.
Exterior applicaitions should be protected with a quality exterior finish product like our Exterior Log Stains.

The price is by the running foot of length for approximately an 8 inch to 10 inch, 10 inch to 12 inch, 12 inch to 14 inch or 14 inch to 16 inch outside diameter log post wrap. This item usually ships via truckline or may be picked up at our dock, allow a minimum 3 to 4 weeks for delivery.

Natural taper in our logs affects the maximum length and interior cavity size in our post wraps;

To place your order;
- Select the desired size option from the drop down menu below.
- Then adjust the total number of linear feet desired in the quantity box. (i.e. 4 logs x 8 feet long= enter "32" in the quantity box).
- Click on add to cart.
- Then in the comments box on the checkout page let us know how you would like the logs cut, please include the post diameter to be wrapped. (i.e. 4 logs 8 feet long, 3 1/2" post diameter).
- Enter your billing and shipping information and click place order.
- We will contact you with a shipping quote and lead time for your approval (if different than quoted amount), before you are charged.
